Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials — requires a licensed asbestos removal contractor under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012
Clinical or medical waste — sharps, pharmaceutical waste, and infectious materials must be collected by a licensed clinical waste carrier
Hazardous chemicals — solvents, paints, pesticides, and other hazardous substances as classified under the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005
Gas canisters or pressurised containers — these require specialist handling and cannot be transported in a standard vehicle
Tyres in bulk — individual tyres can be taken at cost, but bulk tyre disposal requires a specialist licensed facility
Radioactive materials — regulated under the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2016
Very large construction waste (structural demolition, asbestos roofing) — quoted separately with specialist subcontractor

✓BizzByYou holds an Upper Tier Waste Carrier Licence as required by the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011.
✓All waste is taken to licensed transfer stations in South Yorkshire — never to council tips (which cannot legally accept commercially collected waste) and never fly-tipped.
✓A Waste Transfer Note is provided for every single collection — your legal proof that waste was disposed of responsibly. We keep records for the statutory minimum of two years.
✓Items that can be donated, recycled, or reused are separated before disposal. What cannot be repurposed goes to a licensed facility.
